Earth Buster is a specialized machine primarily used for septic drain field rejuvenation and deep soil decompaction.It offers a non- invasive, cost-effective alternative, to completely replacing failing drain field.Here are some key points the on the Earth Buster: septic drain field restoration : its main use is to fix clogged or compacted soil in the septic drain fields.A failing drain field is usually caused by compacted soil and the build up of biomat (a slimy,jelly-like substance made of partially decomposed sewage and microorgaismes) which prevents the septic fluid (effluent) from percolating/ draining properly into the soil. Soil Decompaction; losenes compacted soil to restore the flow of air, water, and nutrients. This can also be used to help areas with persistent pudding or to relieve suffering trees in the tight soil HOW IT WORKS the Earth Buster, often mounted on a skid-steer or tractor,drives a pneumatic ( air- powered) probe up to six feet deep into the soil usually placed up to 4 feet outside the drain field lines.COMPRESSSED AIR BLAST: Once the probe is at the depth, a powerful blast of compressed air released rapidly .SOIL FRACTURE:This blast creates a heaving effect 'that breaks up the compacted soil and the bio-mat layer through a process called pneumatic soilfracturing .This creates cracks and fissures in to percolate again.AERATION: The process also introduces oxygen into the soil,which helps aerobic bacteria flourish and further decompose the biomat,restoring the natural function of the drain field.BENEFITS: Restores the drain field with out the need for extensive digging or excavation,minimizing damages to your lawn and landscaping. COST-EFFECTIVE: It is significantly less expensive than completely replacing a septic drain field. QUICK: A typical drain field restoration job can often be completed in a matters of hours.
